Untether from trauma and find internal freedom.

Therapeutic approach

I believe my primary role as a therapist is to help people foster and deepen their connection to their authentic self. Anxiety and depression are symptoms that present when our bodies are trying to get our attention, and together we will learn to listen to what your body is trying to tell you. My sessions involve grounding into the present moment, somatic work to access the wisdom of the body, gentle inquiries about core beliefs, and a healthy does of laughter (as needed). My approach is grounded in attachment theory, somatic therapy, and a method called Compassionate Inquiry (developed by Dr. Gabor Mate) to help clients identify unconscious dynamics running their lives, question the stories they’ve told about themselves, and liberate themselves from old patterns. Sessions often include inner child work that can bring deep healing to the younger parts of you that were neglected, left alone, and left unseen. Together, we will gently and artfully peel back the layers of your psyche and create a cohesive narrative of your life story that feels empowering, freeing, and like a coming home.

My approach to working with clients is gentle, collaborative, and exploratory. I will help you see patterns and blind spots, encourage agency and self-responsibility, and guide you deeper into the core of your body, heart, and soul. We will connect with your emotions, physical sensations in your body, your most important values, and take aligned action forward, together. It is my greatest joy watching people come home to themselves, watching the layers of protection soften, and witnessing the spark of aliveness come back into my client’s eyes. You were destined for a rich and fulfilling life, full of wonder and deep satisfaction. It would be my honor to guide you on this journey.

Do you want more out of life?

What if you didn’t have to be held back by your trauma and, instead, had the freedom to expand and move forward in life? What if the story that something is wrong with you wasn't actually true?

Blair is an expert at helping people feel comfortable in their skin, transform negative self-talk into a calm and peaceful inner world, shift negative self-perceptions into positive ones, and empower self-acceptance. While pain is an inevitable part of life, much of the suffering we endure is unnecessary. Blair is highly skilled in helping clients release mental loops of self-inflicted pain, while simultaneously stretching their capacity to hold, feel, and experience the wide spectrum of emotion that comes with being human. When we can learn how to be with pain instead of running from it, we no longer need to numb and rely on the addictions that keep us trapped. We develop confidence in our ability to face whatever life brings us, a deeper sense of self-trust, and a greater capacity to experience joy, happiness, and gratitude.
